Inhibitors and Antifreeze Fluids
Corrosion inhibitors, otherwise known as corrosion protection agents or central heating inhibitors, protect central heating systems against the formation of sludge and limescale deposits. Harmful effects of corrosive residues may cause noise in the boiler, blockage in the circulator pump, clogging of pipes, boiler failure, or heat pump malfunction, as well as negatively affect the overall efficiency of the system and the life span of the boiler.
The pH buffer, which adjusts the unwanted changes in pH, is also a very important element of inhibitors.
